Reservation Policies

Rates: All rates are based on 2 people per room, per night. Each additional adult or child increases the rate by $15/night. There is no charge for babies 1 year and younger.

Taxes: A state and local occupancy tax of 9.7% will be added to your total room charge.

Minimum Stay: We have a minimum stay of 3 nights during the Summer Season and two nights on weekends in the Spring and Fall seasons.

Reservation, Deposit and Payment Policies: All reservations require a deposit equal to 50% of your total room charge. We accept Cash, Travelers Checks, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We accept personal checks for any deposit made one month in advance. The room balance plus a lodging tax of 9.7% will be finalized and charged at check-in.

Cancellations and refunds: We require a minimum of 14 days notice for any change including cancellation, late arrivals or early departures for reservations during our Spring, Summer and Fall seasons. We require a minimum of 7 days notice for any change including cancellation, late arrivals or early departures for reservations during our Winter season. If the reservation is for more than one room or is part of a group reservation, we require 30 days notice. With the appropriate notice we will gladly refund your deposit, less a $25 service charge per room. Please see our note about cancellations below.

Arrival and Check-in time is between 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Please call to make special arrangements if you need to arrive after 8:00 PM. Check-out is 10:30 AM.

Parking: We provide parking for 1 car per room. Please call if you need help with additional parking options.

Smoke Free: All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed outdoors.

No Pet Policy: Sesuit Harbor House does not accept or allow any pets in the rooms. As pet lovers we understand it can be difficult to leave part of the family at home and can recommend local kennels if needed. Resident Cats: We have two resident cats that do not go outdoors or in any guest rooms. After breakfast you can find them visiting guests, playing or resting in the Main House.

 

How Sesuit Harbor House Honors Your Reservation

Larger or city hotels often practice what is known as overbooking, selling more rooms than they actually have, always counting on cancellations. Small hotels and inns, like Sesuit Harbor House, never overbook rooms. We guarantee your reservation. We have designed and implemented our cancellation policy to ensure that your room will be available for the dates you reserved. This policy is explained when each reservation is made whether by phone or online, it is presented on our website, and it is a part of the written confirmation. We understand that there are certain life events that occur and prevent guests from honoring a reservation made with us.  We strongly encourage guests to look into travel insurance options when making any vacation plans and reservations. Unfortunately we are unable to make exceptions to our cancellatoin policy.
